3.3 Business Transfers: If HaveFun is acquired or merges with another company, your information may transfer to the new entity, and we'll notify you in advance.


3.4 Photos/Video: If you consent to being photographed or filmed at an event, resulting media may be shared publicly on our website or social media. See Section 10.


3.5 No Sharing of Mobile Data for Marketing by Others: We will never share your phone number or SMS opt-in/consent data with third parties for their own marketing purposes. It is used only to deliver messages from HaveFun (e.g., via our SMS platform and mobile carriers).

4. Data Retention


We retain your registration and contact information for as long as you continue participating in our events, and for a reasonable period afterward to handle disputes, re-engagement, and legal obligations. Tax reporting records related to prize payouts are retained as required by law (typically at least 7 years). You may request deletion of your data at any time, subject to Section 6 and any legal retention requirements.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

By providing your phone number when registering for an event, you consent to receive SMS text messages from HaveFun, including:

  • Promotional messages (upcoming events, special offers)

Message frequency varies based on your event activity. Standard message and data rates may apply.


6.2 Opt-Out Instructions

You can opt out of promotional texts anytime by replying STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to any message. We'll confirm your opt-out and stop promotional messages. Opting out of promotional messages will not stop essential transactional messages tied to an event you're registered for (e.g., day-of schedule changes).

6.3 No Sharing for Marketing

Your phone number and SMS consent will never be sold or shared with third parties for their marketing purposes. We only share it with our SMS platform provider and mobile carriers as necessary to deliver messages to you.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (TLS/SSL) and restricted, need-to-know access to participant data. No method of transmission over the internet or mobile networks is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our events, including cash-prize competitions, are open only to individuals 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
